The Indifference of Nature: A Philosophical Exploration
In nature’s realm, indifference reigns supreme,
A timeless force, an everlasting dream.
Human cares, in their finite strife,
Confront death’s abyss, the essence of life.
- The true abyss lies in the fact that nature remains indifferent. Only humans care, confronted with their finite existence, facing nothing but death, and alone with their contingency.
- Mother Nature remains impartial, regardless of whether you’re taking your first breath, your last breath, or still in the womb. She doesn’t concern herself with humanity’s arbitrary child/adult boundaries.

It’s crucial to remember that nature doesn’t hold any regard for your well-being. You should be thankful, it isn’t actively trying to harm you, at least not intentionally.
Nature doesn’t possess “care” as humans do; it simply responds to the energy we consciously contribute or extracts energy unconsciously through suffering.
Well-being and care, nature’s not inclined,
Harm’s not her purpose, in most places we find.
She lacks human’s “care,” that emotion so deep,
